Good Neighbor Food Pantry of Woodstock
PO Box 619
Woodstock, NY 12498
For years the Good Neighbor Food Pantry has successfully served our neighbors in Woodstock. Our needs have exploded in recent times due to the uncertainty of the economy and the impact it has had on many of our lives. We need your help now. A donation of any amount will be appreciated and will help us to continue to provide food to your neighbors in need of assistance. We currently serve over 1,400 people monthly. The families and individuals who visit our pantry weekly are neighbors who have lost their jobs. Many are people working more than one job and are still under employed and unable to sustain their ability to feed themselves and their families. Some have lost their homes and others are struggling with illnesses that cause a burden that can be both emotionally and economically debilitating.
Our mission is to provide a three day supply of food to those who come to our pantry. We offer canned and packaged food, fresh produce, and eggs. We also offer limited amounts of dignity items such as toilet paper, diapers, toothpaste, and toothbrushes to assist those in need.
The Good Neighbor Food Pantry of Woodstock, Inc., was founded by the Interfaith Council of Woodstock and we are fortunate to have the support of volunteers from the community. We have no salaried employees and all of the good work is performed by our dedicated volunteers. Our Board of Directors consist of members of the community. Many represent the various houses of worship in Woodstock. To donate follow the link below.
